Terms and Conditions – Buses Telematics Box Solution
1. Warranty
All Telematics devices come with a standard 1-year warranty, extendable to 2 years at no additional cost.
Warranty covers manufacturer defects, hardware malfunctions, and sensor calibration issues under normal use.
Warranty does not cover physical damage, misuse, unauthorized modifications, or water exposure unless specified.
2. Installation
Standard installation includes mounting of the telematics unit, GPS antenna, power wiring, and up to two temperature sensors.
Additional wiring, hardwire kits, or non-standard modifications may incur additional charges.
Installation must be performed by a certified technician or authorized partner to qualify for warranty.
3. Device Ownership
The device remains the property of the buyer after full payment.
For rental or lease-based agreements, the device remains under Taxieco’s ownership until the contract ends or buyout is completed.
4. Subscription & Data Services
Devices require an active subscription for cloud connectivity, real-time tracking, and system alerts.
Subscription includes SIM data, platform access, maintenance alerts, and system updates.
Service fees are non-refundable once the device is activated.
5. Support and Maintenance
Technical support is available during business hours (Mon–Fri, 9 AM – 6 PM).
On-site support or technician dispatch is subject to service charges outside free maintenance coverage.
Software updates are included during the subscription period.
6. Returns and Refunds
Returns are only accepted within 14 days of delivery if the device is unused and in its original packaging.
A restocking fee of 15% may apply.
No refunds for used, installed, or damaged units.
7. Liability
Taxieco shall not be liable for any loss of goods, delayed delivery, or spoilage due to unauthorized use, sensor removal, power disconnection, or network issues.
It is the responsibility of the user to monitor real-time alerts and act accordingly.
8. Data Privacy
All collected tracking and temperature data is securely stored in compliance with PDPA and GDPR standards.
Data will not be shared with third parties without consent, except as required by law.
9. Force Majeure
Taxieco is not liable for any failure to perform due to causes beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, network outages, transportation delays, or government regulations.
10. Governing Law
This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia.
